Over 100 state enterprises to be put for privatization

A total of 101 state enterprises and facilities will be put up for privatization auction to be held by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues on November 1, the Committee said on October 3.

The government's share of 23 state facilities is 30-45 percent. They are located in Baku, Mingachevir, Neftchala, Astara, Absheron, Yevlakh, Khachmaz, Kurdamir and other regions of the country.

Enterprises put up for privatization operate in the fields of agricultural chemistry, construction and repair, transport, poultry farming, services, industry, processing industry and other spheres.

Moreover, 62 small state enterprises and facilities will be put up for privatization. They include non-residential sites, commercial enterprises, catering establishments located in Baku, Shaki, Agsu, Hajigabul, Salyan, Balakan, Ismailli and other regions of Azerbaijan.

A total of 16 vehicles will also be put up for privatization.

The auction will be held in the auction Centre of the State Committee on Property Issues.
