String Quartet to perform in Baku

Azerbaijan's State String Quartet  will give a concert on May 23.

The gala concert will take place in the Chamber and Organ Music Hall, Trend Life reported.

The evening will feature works by Gara Garayev, Fikrat Amirov, Tofig Guliyev, Musa Mirzoyev, Hasan Rzayev, Khayyam Mirzazade and Samir Aliyev.

The soloists  are the Honored Artists of Azerbaijan Nargiz Karimova (soprano) and Sahib Pashazade (tar).

The event aims to promote classical music among youth.

The concert program is organized by M?d?niyy?t’ TV channel, ‘Azerbaijan’ radio channel and  the State Philharmonic Hall with support of  Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The concert will start at 19:00.
