Visit program of Daniel Fried, the U.S. State Secretary Assistant on European and Eurasian Issues is settled

The visit program of Daniel Fried, the U.S. State Secretary Assistant on European and Eurasian Issues and Steven Mann, the U.S. Special Envoy on Conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh and other Eurasian regions to Baku from 19 to 20 October is already settled. This information was confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The delegation will arrive in Baku on Wednesday evening. The official meetings will be held on Thursday. Fried will deliver a speech at the Baku State University at 11.00am.

The guests will be received by Elmar Mammadyarov, the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, then by the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. They also plan meeting at the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). Fried and Mann will hold news conferences at Hyatt Park at 18.00pm.

The sides will discuss bilateral relations, the current pre-election situation and a settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict during the meetings.
