Political blocks Azadlig and Yeni Siyaset [New Politics] plan to send common candidates to the elections

A special Coordinating Commission is being set up to coordinate selection of common candidates for the Azadlig and the Yeni Siyaset [New Politics] blocks. Founder of Yeni Siyaset Eldar Namazov proposed to Azadlig leaders to establish the Coordinating Committee and nominate representatives for it.

The chairman of the National Independence Party Ali Aliyev is entrusted to hold negotiations with the Azadlig block and form the commission consisting out of the both block's representatives.

Namazov also noted that one of the conditions of the future agreement between the blocks is participation of a single candidate from the blocks on the elections. That is why the commission will have to work on mutual compromises between the block's candidates and nominate a single candidate in each constituency. Upon a settlement of all issues by the Coordinating Commission the sides will sign an agreement.
