Asian Development Bank is interested in development Azerbaijan's banking system

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is interested to participate in formation of the capital of banking organizations operating in our country. However, the Bank must implement certain investigations for this purpose.

As APA was informs, the ADB's Resident Mission in Azerbaijan, the Bank is ready to assist in consolidation of small and mid-sized banks and improvement of their current financial activity.

It should be reminded that only the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been participating in authorized capitals of banking organizations operating in the country (UniBank and Azerdemiryolbank) so far.
