In the first half of this year, the government of Azerbaijan allocated 1 billion 953.5 million manats to the reconstruction and restoration of territories freed from occupation, Azernews reports, citing the Ministry of Finance.
According to the information, this amount represents 51.1% of the 3 billion 825 million manats allocated for this purpose in the 2024 state budget. These funds were disbursed based on cash order documents submitted by customer organizations for respective projects.
Additionally, 1 billion 64.9 million manats were financed based on orders issued by executives for state capital investment (investment) expenses, which constitutes 42.9% of the allocated expenses for this year. This amount reflects a 40.4% increase compared to the same period last year.
