A new “COP29” category has been introduced on Bolt and Yango ride-hailing apps to ensure convenient transport for international delegates and local participants attending COP29 in Baku, Azernews reports.
To facilitate seamless travel for the tens of thousands expected at the conference, the COP29 Azerbaijan Operating Company and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport are expanding transportation options. Along with dedicated shuttle buses, the COP29 category on Bolt and Yango streamlines booking by guiding users to the nearest taxi ranks. For added security, dedicated vehicles in this category will feature special stickers for easy identification.
In addition, official COP29 partner Baku Taxi will provide services from Heydar Aliyev International Airport and areas around Baku Stadium. Wheelchair users with COP29 accreditation will receive complimentary Baku Taxi services to and from designated locations, ensuring accessible transport options for all participants.
