Chingiz Ganizade: "I do not consider Ali Insanov and Farhad Aliyev as political prisoners"

This statement was made by right defender Chingiz Ganizade.

"Advocates of ex-minister informed us of serious problems with his health. For this reason I agreed to add my name to the appeal. But I heard recently that by the time appeal was prepared lawyer of Farhad Aliyev - Irade Javadova had some meetings with right defenders. I do not wish to share these kinds of things and announce officially that I do not consider Ali Insanov and Farhad Aliyev political prisoner as political prisoner."

Right defender Murad Sadeddinov who signed the document states that 15 people had signed the document.

"But I do not remember Chingiz Ganizade signed this document or not."

Farhad Aliyev's lawyer Irade Javadova has stated that discussion of that document was held in the study of Chingiz Ganizade.

"I have the copy of the document, in case of necessity I can present it. Chingiz Ganizade has signed that appeal in person. The only right defender Elchin Behbudov could not join the meeting."

Irade Javadova said after a week that Elchin Behbudov has signed the document personally. Irade Javadova felt sorry for not holding talks with right defenders separately, APA reports.
