Azerbaijanis living in Iran will march to Babek tower

"Every year march-rally placed in front of Babek tower is national ceremony, and not any state can prevent it," the statement was made by South Azerbaijan Prisoners Defense Committee chief Seid Neimi from Tehran.

As APA reports, he stated that though government of Iran has closed the surroundings of Iran for military training, march participants will ignore it. He said that South Azerbaijanis are insistent on holding march to Babek tower. Despite all the obstacles, march will be held to Babek tower July 1.

If there is any confrontation, the government will be responsible for that. Because prohibiting national ceremony of Azerbaijanis might be against of Iran state. Naimi hopes the demonstration to be more crowded.
