Ago Group members meet Azerbaijani opposition activists

As APA reports, during the meeting with party leader Isa Gambar, the sides discussed our country's compliance with its commitments assumed when joining the Council of Europe.

The discussions also focused on the implementation of the PACE Resolution 1480, current situation on democracy and human rights, the 13 May partial re-run of the parliamentary elections and international organizations' assessment of these elections as well further steps to improve electoral legislation and forming election commissions on parity.

The Group members also met Azadliq alliance leaders Ali Karimli, Serdar Jalaloglu and Ali Aliyev. The same issues were discussed at the meeting.
