Embassy of Iran issued statement on the events happened in Qana village of Lebanon

As APA reports, by the support of America and England, Israel attacked Lebanon territory, committed terrible tragedy in Qana village of Lebanon, as a result of which innocent people died.

Handicapped children, old people were murdered. Israel regime making attack to UNO center in Qana killed more than 107 women and children who had found refuge there. Repetition of this tragedy once again yesterday, terrorist essence of Israeli state added one more fact.

"Tragedy of Qana is a symbol of humbleness of Lebanon people, but savagery of Israeli leaders and its defenders. Qana is a clear picture of initial principles of human rights and norms by the claiming supporters of democracy and civilization. Qana is the symbol of Lebanon's "rightful defense" martyrdom in return of "Israel's state terrorism."

Qana is the indication of a question marked before the world with the blood of innocent Lebanese babies.

"For what we are murdered?" This question is addressed to America and other supporters of the Zionist regime. These crimes were committed by their financial, political and military support, and the UN actions to condemn the Zionist regime and end aggression turn out fruitless due to the vetos imposed by them," the statement reads.

The document concludes: "The Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan joins the grief of the Lebanese people, strongly condemns these terrible crimes and urge all international organizations, in particular Muslim states to make all their efforts to stop the attacks by the Zionist regime and prevent massacre of innocent and peaceful Lebanese people."

Israeli air strikes in Qana have killed at least 60 civilians, mostly children.
