Haji Mammadov: "I will tell Sabir Babayev and Ismayil Kazimov who ordered kidnapping of their sons"

The court proceedings against Haji Mammadov and his 26 co-defendants are chaired by Judge Ali Seyfaliyev, APA reports.

Haji Mammadov responded to questions of sufferers. He said he kidnapped "Azermebel" Industrial Concern head Nazim Pashayev for the purpose of getting money from him.

"I knew Nazim Pashayev. Sirkhan Albiyev ordered this kidnapping, and was committed by Husain Abdulvahabov’s gang. I only led this process," Haji said.

He also promised to tell Sabir Babayev, owner of "Portofino" restaurant and Ismayil Kazimov, assistant of Yasamal district prosecutor who ordered kidnapping of their sons, "I am in sympathy with both families, therefore, I’ll tell who ordered the kidnappings. But, it will bring you no good but harm."

Haji Mammadov also said a number of senior officers of the Interior Ministry were aware of his criminal activity in Garabulag resort.

The trial will be continued today.
