New states may become TRACECA members this year

New states might become the TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission (IC) members, Akif Mustafayev, IC national secretary in Azerbaijan told.

He said one of the applicants is Afghanistan and the government is to ratify the document for TRACECA membership soon. Egypt membership as an observer is being discussed, APA reports.

The TRACECA has 12 members now.
