Former U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kauzlarich: "USA attaches great importance to Turkey"

Chairing a panel entitled "USA-2020 Projection, Global Security Developments: NATO-ESDP (European Security and Defense Policy)" held within the scope a conference entitled "Strategic Foresight: The World and Turkey in the 100th Anniversary of Republic in 2023" hosted by ASAM, Logoglu noted that the importance of Turkish-U.S. relations would be maintained in 2020 as well. "The two countries will boost political, strategic and economic cooperation," he stressed.

Logoglu added that Turkey would also play a key role in the world with its democratic and secular structure in 2023.

Taking the floor in the panel, True Path Party (DYP) deputy leader Nuzhet Kandemir said that Turkey attached great importance to USA, as an allied and friendly country.

In regard to Turkish people's recent reaction to the United States, Kandemir noted that this problem could be solved by joint efforts of both parties.

On the other hand, former U.S. Ambassador in Baku and National Intelligence Officer Rich Kauzlarich said that USA attached great importance to Turkey, stressing that cooperation between the two countries would also continue in 2020.
