The corruption of Armenian politicians is the most serious problem of the country.

This statement was made by International Republicans Institute and the US International Development Agency sociological inquiry. Gellap Institute surveyed inquiry among 1 200 respondents in the result if which 78% of Armenians think the corruption of politicians is the most serious problem for the country. 19% of the respondents think it is not very serious problem, and the rest 2% do not consider it a problem. The most serious mistakes of Armenian politicians are not obeying the rules (16%), selling of important state establishments (15%), not paying enough attention to the people (12%), objecting to decree of prices (10%), passiveness in fighting against corruption (9%0, not keeping promises (4%), cheeping of US dollar (4%), decisions about the future of Nagorno Karabakh (3%), rigging the results of referendum for Constitution (2%), non-repayment of USSR period savings, low pensions and activity of the Government (1%).

34% of the respondents did not participated in the inquiry. APA
