Azerbaijan appoints new military attaches

Last month Azerbaijan's military attaches to Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Turkey - Major-general Gabil Mammadov, lieutenant-general Talib Mammadov and Colonel Bakhish Alekberov were called back.

According to military sources, Azerbaijani military attache to China Lieutenant-general Yashar Aydemirov was also called back. Azerbaijani attach?s to Pakistan and China have not been appointed yet.

Defense Ministry Press Service Chief, Colonel Ramiz Malikov told APA he was unaware of these appointments. "The rotation of military attaches is normal and continues regularly," he said.
