BSECO PA new chairman and deputy chosen

Globalization, cultural questions, BSECO PA budget were discussed at the meeting today, APA reports.

Azerbaijani parliamentarian Jale Aliyeva, Greek parliamentarian Anastasios Spiliopulos, Russian parliamentarian Olga Selivertsova made speech at the meeting.

At the end of the meeting Assembly chairman Ogtay Asadov turned over the chairmanship to Bulgarian speaker Georgy Pirinsky.

Asef Hajiyev from Azerbaijani delegation was elected deputy chairman. The formation of BSECO PA budget for 2007 was discussed at the meeting. It was noted that the budget of the organization for 2007 will be formed in Euro and will contain approximately EUR 846m. The expenses will be the same as 2006. The membership dues will be fixed average growth rate of GDP.

At the end of BSECO PA Plenary Session speaker of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov said that the 29th plenary session of the organization will be held in Sophia.

The new chairman of the PA Bulgarian speaker Pirinsky stressed that the Assembly will become stronger functionally.
