Maherram Aliyev: "Conspiracy against Heydar Aliyev was discovered by Baku Main Police Board"

He said that MIA Crime Search Department ex-chief Zakir Nasirov's words in the court that BMPB detained the men trying to organize conspiracy and released after taking bribe are slander.

"I remember this criminal fact. This crime was discovered by the officers of BMPB and all the criminals were arrested. We also found the weapon to be used in the crime. President Heydar Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the disclosure of the crime," he said.

Maherram Aliyev said that a man called Huseynbala, participated in the crime, was detained by BMPB Crime Search Department some months ago. But his participation in the crime was not proved and he was released.

"When the crime on conspiracy against President was discovered the man was again detained by our officers and hold accountable. As far as I know, this man is still in prison. There are photos of the place where the rocket Strela-3 planned for striking president's plane was found and the men participated in the crime are alive," he said.

Maherram Aliyev said that BMPB Crime Search Department chief Mammad Mikayilov, Binagadi Police Office chief Javadaga Sultanov (the weapon was found in the territory of Binagadi district), Deputy Prosecutor General Ramiz Rzayev and some others participated in the disclosure of conspiracy, APA reports.
