Appeal against MP Huseyn Abdullayev's arrest to be considered

Kamandar Nasibli, lawyer for the parliamentarian told the APA that they want Huseyn Abdullayev to be released on bail, or there might have been a decision on house arrest.

The lawyer said that they have gathered all evidences on parlimentrian Fazail Agamali's arrest and will submit them to the investigation soon.

MPs Fazail Agamali and Huseyn Abdullayev had a conflict at the parliament's sitting on March 16. Fazail Agamali appealed to the law enforcement bodies and said that he was offended and underwent physical pressure.

The parliament annulled Abdullayev's parliamentary immunity at Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov's demand.

A criminal case has been launched against him on Article 221.2.2 (hooliganism) and 132 (beating). Huseyn Abdullayev is being kept in Bayil Detention Place #1.
