Chairman of European Court of Human Rights intending to visit Azerbaijan

Asked about the said visit, the chairman of the European Court of Human Rights Jean-Paul Costa announced that they will meet with F.Abdullayev on January 25.

Costa refused to comment on the content of the forthcoming talks, noting, however, that he expects and will accept the invitation from Abdullayev to visit Azerbaijan.

He said he is interested in the establishment of close ties with judicial instances, executive and legislative bodies of all member-states of the European Union, including Azerbaijan.

"If Mr. Abdullayev confirms the invitation, I will visit your country with great pleasure", Costa noted.
