WHO Director General starts official visit to Azerbaijan

The press service for Azerbaijan's Health Ministry told APA that the visit will end on January 31. Margaret Chan will first visit Martyrs’ Alley and graves of Heydar Aliyev and Zarifa Aliyeva.

After that, Margaret Chan will have a meeting with Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev.

Ms. Chan and the delegation will get acquainted with cultural and historical places of Azerbaijan and visit several medical establishments.

President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh and president of Heydar Aliyev's Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva are expected to receive the visitor.

Margaret Chan also plans to have meetings with the UN representations in Azerbaijan.
