The minister said monitoring was being conducted.
“Appeal will be made to the leadership soon. It seems that those persons have not learned from the president’s order,” he said.
Huseyn Bagirov said hundreds of appeals had been filed to courts in connection with deforestation and added that appeals to courts were being prepared over the facts that happened after the president’s order.
“We are thinking to increase fines for deforestation. International and legal basis is being studied in connection with this,” he said.
