PACE rapparteur stresses progress in living conditions of Azerbaijani refugees

"Azerbaijani government has taken important steps towards the improvement of living conditions of refugees”, said rapporteur of the PACE Committee on Migration, Refugees and Population John Greenway in his meeting with Chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov, APA reports. John Greenway noted that his visit related to the report on protection of IDPs’ rights in Europe. Greenway stated that he would present the report to PACE late in June:
“I hope the report will play a role of additional impetus to solution of protracted conflicts”. Today, the rapporteur has also visited the IDPs settled in the center of Baku and Ramana settlement. “Azerbaijani government has taken important steps towards the improvement of living conditions of IDPs”.
