Azerbaijani news agency awarded Progress premium for contribution to development of Azerbaijan-Russian relations

The award was presented to Trend News director on international cooperation by deputy chairman of Board of Azerbaijani-Russian Chamber of Business Cooperation Gunduz Gazmayev.

The Progress premium was established by the Embassy of Russia in Azerbaijan, trade representation of Russian Federation in Azerbaijan, jointly with the Azerbaijani-Russian Chamber of Business Cooperation. Trend News was awarded the Progress premium as one of the best participants of the Azerbaijani-Russian trade and economic co-operation as a result of 2008.

In June, Trend News Agency was awarded diploma signed by the Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin for great contribution to preserving Russian language and culture, developing single Russian language area worldwide and maintaining and strengthening humanitarian ties.

Trend News was recognized "The best news company" in 2006-2007 in Azerbaijan. Furthermore, Trend News Agency was awarded the Brand Award Azerbaijan premium in the nomination of Agency of exclusive information of the year. Eurasian Television and Radio Academy, jointly with RIA Novosti, recognized Trend News the most dynamically developing resource in Eurasia in 2008.
