The representatives of the Azerbaijani Health Ministry, the National Center of Hygiene and Epidemiology and the Research Institute of Pulmonary Diseases have participated in a meeting of the World Health Organization (WHO) held in Copenhagen to assist South-Eastern and Eastern European countries to prevent spread of the pandemic virus A/H1N1, the ministry said.
"The Azerbaijani representatives gave their recommendations to prevent spread of 'swine flu' at the meeting," said the report.
At the meeting it was noted that the WHO is currently working on a vaccine against A/H1N1 and recommendations on its use will be given in the coming months.
