Azerbaijan launches month of children's safety on roads

A month of safe traffic, held due to the beginning of a new academic year, will run by Oct.10, the Central State Traffic Police Department of the Internal Ministry said.

Besides preventing traffic accidents with children and teenagers, a safe month aims to draw attention to this problem, to strengthen discipline among drivers, to intensify preventive measures and to inculcate in children skills of safe behavior on the roads.

Leadership of the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry calls all drivers to observe all traffic rules, by demonstrating a good example for children and young people in this sphere during a month.
