
Tajik President Emomali Rahmon will take part in the events to be held in Baku on Nov. 6-7 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade and his 30-year activity in this post, the CMO Deputy Chairman Haji Sabir Hasanli told reporters.
He said the CO Chairman Pashazade visited Dushanbe on Oct. 4-6.
Pashazade participated in an international symposium on "The Legacy of Abu Hanifa and his role in the dialogue between civilizations."
"On October 5 Tajik President Emomali Rahmon held a meeting with the Supreme Spiritual Leader of the Caucasus Muslims. The meeting noted the need for continuous development of the spiritual ties between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan," said Hasanli.
