"People worldwide expect the Muslim countries to take steps and now we have a good chance to discuss the future of Islam," Syrian Culture Minister Riad Nasan al-Agha said in his remarks in the sixth conference of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) member states that began in Baku on Oct. 13.

The Baku conference is very important to discuss one of the major problems not only of Islamic, but also of the world culture - the problem of Jerusalem.
"Today we have gained a chance to hear the views of each participant for solution of the Jerusalem problem and the world is waiting for the steps that the Muslim countries are going to take," Nasan al-Agha said.
