TURKSOY to get new status

TURKSOY will be renamed into the International Organization of Turkic Culture, and the new format will enable to work at the level of UNESCO and ISESCO, Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev said at a news conference.
The head of the organization will get status of a secretary general.

“It will be very active in organizing the heritage of Turkic-speaking peoples around the world,” he said.
