Conclusions of local TV channels from critics is not at level we expected: Azerbaijani Presidential Administration chief

TV channels has drawn some conclusions from the critics, however, not at a level that we expected, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Chief Ramiz Mehdiyev said.

“Television plays an important role in our life by informing and educating the people. But there were some processes on TV channels that did not keep pace with intellectual level of the Azerbaijani public," he said.

"TV channels should work to form more intellectual audience. There should be serious changes in this field," he added.

Mehdiyev said the TV channels should broadcast talk shows and intellectual programs.

“The essence and significance of these programs must meet the tastes of the people. Unfortunately there are no changes in this field," he noted.
