Azerbaijan attends Conference of Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons

14th conference of the Organization for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons started in Hague on Nov. 30 and will run through Dec. 4.  

Azerbaijan is represented by Azerbaijani ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, country’s Permanent Representative to the OPCW Fuad Isgandarov.

At the conference, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the UN Office at Geneva, Ambassador Ahmet Üzümcü was elected Director General of OPCW for the period from July 25, 2010 to July 24, 2014.
 
OPCW was established in 1997 with headquarters located in Hague

The organization brings together 188 countries.
