Baku to host second int'l Nasimi Scientific Conference

The second International Nasimi scientific conference devoted to the eminent Azerbaijani poet and thinker Imadaddin Nasimi will be held on Dec. 14-16 in the capital of Azerbaijan.

The event will be co-organized by Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

The conference will be attended by assistant of Aleppo Governor for cultural affairs Mohammad Gacca, mufti of Aleppo Mahmoud Okkem, researchers of Nasimi`s work Isam Gasabchi and Mohammad Kemal, as well as Iranian professor Javad Heyat.

The participants will hear several reports to be made by Azerbaijani scientists.

They will also discuss the issues of cooperation towards reconstruction and restoration of Nasimi's tomb in Aleppo where he was buried.

The first scientific conference dedicated to Nasimi`s lifetime and activity was held in Aleppo.
