Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva to present a book on Nobel Prize-winning women

Board member of the Nobel Family Society and co-founder and trustee of the Nobel Charitable Fund Gustav Nobel will speak at the event.

The preface to the book written by Gustav Nobel states that in her study Ganira Pashayeva reviewed achievements of women who became Nobel laureates, historical events they witnessed and expressed admiration for their ambitious efforts.

Speaking about women’s role in the modern world,  Nobel notes a need for their active participation in politics.

“Women are leading politicians of Europe and the world today. This is the best indicator of our time."

Pashayeva has collected in her book portraits-sketches about path of life, scientific and creative activity of 36 women who were Nobel Prize winners in the period from 1903 to 2009.

Consultant of the book “Nobel Prize-winning women” is president of the Baku Nobel Heritage Fund Togrul Bagirov.
