Azerbaijani soldier dies in contact line of Azerbaijani, Armenian armies

A soldier of Azerbaijani Army was killed after Armenian armed forces violated ceasefire in direction of Tartar region on Jan. 14.
Elshan Idman Sahmarov, 19, who was killed during ceasefire violation, was drafted by Military Commissariat of Lankaran region, local authorities said.

The soldier was buried in his home village Ashagi Nuvadi in Lankaran on Friday.

Local authorities also attended the funeral.

Elshan Shahmarov was to end military service in two months.
