Erdogan says Turkey's export to UAE $7.5 bln

Erdogan said that the foreign trade volume between Turkey and United Arab Emirates reached 8.6 billion USD as of 2008.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that the foreign trade volume between Turkey and United Arab Emirates reached 8.6 billion USD as of 2008.

Nearly 7.5 billion USD of this figure is Turkey's export, added Erdogan who assessed his talks in UAE.

Erdogan said that Turkish contractors had an important amount of investment in UAE, adding that there would be very serious investments in this country in the future.

Erdogan expressed pleasure over the confidence of UAE in Turkey.

He said that UAE wanted to make joint initiatives with Turkey in agriculture, industry and energy areas. Erdogan added that delegations from UAE would visit Turkey next week about this issue.
