Heavy snow in Turkey freezes Tunca River

Officials with the Edirne Municipality said Tuesday they expected snowfall to continue in the next three days.
The Tunca River and all pools in north-western province of Edirne got frozen after hours of snowfall.

Temperature in the province dropped to -15 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.

Road crews are continuously working to open closed roads to traffic within the boundaries of Edirne.
