NATO Secretary General to visit Georgia

This statement was made after the meeting of Georgian parliament speaker Davit Bakradze with Anders Fogh Rasmussen in Brussels on Jan. 27.

During the half an hour meeting, parliament speaker focused on the situation in Georgia`s occupied regions and the approach of the international organizations to the problem.

The fulfillment of the Bucharest summit resolution was also revised.

Georgia was reminded that it should comply with the terms of the resolution to speed up its integration into the alliance.

The date of the NATO Secretary General's visit to Georgia has not been announced.
