Heavy snowfall blocks roads in Turkish cities

Many provinces in east Turkey, which were affected by freezing weather, saw temperatures dip well below zero. Eastern province of Ardahan experienced a cold night with minus 13 degrees Celsius.

Village roads in several provinces including northwestern provinces of Tekirdag, Canakkale, Kirklareli; in central province of Kayseri and many eastern provinces have been closed to traffic due to heavy snowfall.
