Turkish industry minister to hold talks with Saudi officials

Industry and Trade Minister Nihat Ergun will leave for Jeddah today, a statement by his ministry said.

Ergun, who will be accompanied by Turkish businessmen, will meet Saudi Arabia's Commerce & Industry Minister Abdallah bin Zaynal Ali Reza during his visit. Ergun and Ali Reza are expected to discuss the ways to boost trade volume between the two countries.

Ergun will also have a meeting with Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC).

Industry Minister Ergun will return to Turkey on February 12.
