Azerbaijani police has seized a large amount of fake 100-dollar-banknotes from circulation.

As a result of search activities undertaken by members of the department for combating organized crime, a resident of Tovuz region Galib Tanriverdiyev, who resides in a rented apartment in Rasulzade settlement in Baku, was detained while selling 1,032 fake 100-dollar-banknotes for $40,000, the Interior Ministry said.
A criminal case has been filed. An investigation is underway.
