Crimea marks Azerbaijani division's jubilee

The 90th anniversary of the 77th Suvorov rifle division, which was formed in Azerbaijan in 1920, will be celebrated this year. The division took an active part in battles to liberate the Crimean capital from fascism.

The Crimean Azerbaijani community will held events to mark jubilee of legendary Azerbaijani division. The members of the community invited Simferopol city administration and the Council of Ministers to participate in these events. A memorial complex for brave sons and daughters of Azerbaijan was erected near Sevastopol.
