31 newspapers and eight news agencies to get one-time assistance in Azerbaijan

The Fund of State Support for Development of Mass Media under Azerbaijani President has decided to provide one-time assistance to 31 newspapers and eight news agencies in order to strengthen material-technical base.

At the meeting of the Fund's Supervisory Board, a report was delivered prepared by the commission established to study the material and technical condition of the media outlets, the Fund's press-service reported on Thursday.

Taking into account the opinion of the commission, the members of the Supervisory Board decided to provide one-time assistance to 31 newspapers and eight news agencies.

The newspapers will be provided with one-time assistance amounting to 3,500 manat, news agencies - 2,500 manat.
