Fatal road accident happens in Jalilabad region of Azerbaijan

Fatal road accident has occured in Jalilabad region of Azerbaijan.
The accident happened on the 121st km of Alat-Astara highway in Alar village of the region  yesterday.

A Tehran-Baku bus driven by citizen of the Islamic Republic of Iran Oruj Khodese collided with VAZ-2106 driven by Elchin Shahbazov, 24. The driver of VAZ-2106 and his passenger Elnur Kazimov, 33, died on the spot. The other passengers of VAZ-2106 – Araz Akhundov, 28, Fariz Hasanov, 29 and Elgun Kazimov, 29, were injured and hospitalized.

None of the 11 passengers of the bus were injured. All of them were sent to Baku.

Nothing is said about the causes of the accident, but according to the witnesses, there were ill passengers in the bus coming from Tehran. Therefore, the driver did not drive speedily. VAZ-2106 appeared unexpectedly. The driver of the bus could not prevent the accident. Criminal case has been launched on the fact, investigation is underway.
