Amendments to be made to Family Code of Azerbaijan

The amendments are aimed to solve problems on property issues between the spouses. If the proposed amendment is adopted, the intermarried will sign contract on the property share. The size of the property share for women and man during the divorce in the family and casualties will be noted in the contract.

The other amendment to the Family Code is the obligatory medical inspection of the intermarried. The amendments and appendix will be discussed at the Parliament’s spring session.
