Azeri man kills his whole family, then tries to commit suicide

A fatal murder took place in Azerbaijan. The incident was recorded at Shahin Mirzoyev str. 72/30 on the night of January 10-11, Nizami district police told APA.

District resident Rovshan Mehraliyev killed his mother Elmira Mehraliyeva, his spouse Lala Mehraliyeva, his daughter Saida, and son Ilham with a knife. Then he reportedly tried to commit suicide, and seriously injured himself with a knife. He was hospitalized.

A criminal case has been launched on the fact by Nizami district Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation on the case is underway.
