Deputy chair of Azerbaijan Television and Radio BCJ Company Faig Husiyev's article "Azerbaijani press in Ukraine" has been published.

The article says: "Ukraine having close economic and cultural relations with Azerbaijan announced its independence on 24 August 1991. Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine since USSR times always have participated in the social life of the country".

According to Faig Husiyev, Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine have taken active part in establishment of diplomatic and other relations between the countries since 1992. In the years of independence, both countries have supported each other in regulation of internal and external problems, the author writes. Later these opportunities have turned to strategic partnership of both nations.

The author also stressed founders of Azerbaijani press in Ukraine. He highlighted Azerbaijani writer Tagi Shahbazi Simurg's newspaper "Voice of South" ("Golos Yuga"), numerous publications "Nation" ("Millet"), "Savalan", "Voice of Azerbaijan" ("Golos Azerbaidzhana"), "Fires of Azerbaijan" ("Ogni Azerbaidzhana") and others.

Faig Husiyev focuses dynamic development of bilateral relations of Ukraine and Azerbaijan in numerous fields, including in the field of politics, economy, culture, science and education.
