Gabala FC transfers Azerbaijani national team's fullback

Gabala Football Club transferred a fullback of the Azerbaijani national team Mahir Shukurov.

Gabala Football Club chief coach Tony Adams said at the presentation ceremony held on Wednesday in the conference hall of the Trend News Agency that Mahir Shukurov is very experienced and clever fullback.

"I watched a few matches of the Azerbaijani national team, in which Shukurov played, and I see him as a right fullback in the Gabala club," Adams said.

He said this season has adaptation character, and next year the team will compete for top places. He said more professional players are planned to be transferred in this regard.
At the presentation ceremony Shukurov said that he has concluded a two-year contract with the Gabala club.

"I'll try to help the Gabala club" Shukurov said.
