Dushanbe hosts meeting of Azerbaijani diaspora activists

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Tajikistan jointly with The Friendship and Culture Center of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan named after Heydar Aliyev organized a meeting with Azerbaijani diaspora activists in Dushanbe.

Tajik media outlets reported that the meeting was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence and results the III World Azerbaijanis Congress which was held in July 5 this year in Baku.

Temporary Azerbaijani charge de affairs in Tajikistan Ilham Zamanov, mission head of the International Migration Organization Zeynal Hajiyev, as well as representatives in cultural, scientific and art spheres attended the meeting.  

The congress was highly appreciated at the meeting. It underscored the importance of consolidation of Azerbaijanis and diasporas all over the world.
