First street in the US named after Azerbaijan

For the first time in the United States history, the biggest street, located in Turquoise Center in Houston (Texas) have been named as "Azerbaijan Street".

The street was named by AACA (Azerbaijani American Cultural Alliance) with the support of the TCAE (Turquoise Council of Americans and Eurasians).

The Azeri Diaspora members said they will continue their efforts to familiarize Americans with Azerbaijan.
