Azerbaijani gymnasts to vie for World Championship

Within September 19-25, French city Montpelier will host the 31st World Championship in rhythmic gymnastics. The Azerbaijani Gymnastics Federation reported that the country will be represented by nine gymnasts.

Thus, Aliya Garayeva, Anna Gurbanova, Zeinab Javadli will perform individually. In the groups event, the Azerbaijani squad will include Sabina Abbasova, Jeyla Guliyeva, Aelita Khalafova, Anastasia Prasolova, Stephanie Trayanova and Evgeniya Jidkova. The individual tournament will play 15 Olympic berths while the group-6 berths.
